In an effort to offer comfort to those visiting his newborn son, the designer created the Joaquim sofa as a tribute to his firstborn. Drawing from Brazilian modernism while embracing a contemporary aesthetic, the piece features a play of volumes, transparency, and cantilevered structures, incorporating materials such as wood and raw cotton hexagonal cane. The collection also extends to other sofas, armchairs, chaises, and modular pieces.
