Ottomans Bruno de Carvalho João Ottoman From the modular and standardized wooden structural profiles to the leather strap seat (which maximizes the use of the hide): in this piece designed by Bruno de Carvalho, the notion of efficient use is evident. The name pays tribute to his grandfather, with whom he experienced rural life in the countryside from an early age and observed the cultivation of the land, learning to make the most of it — a concept he now applies to the chair in a self-sustaining way. The strict attention to proportion highlights the care given to the smallest details, and the combination of materials emphasizes the lightness of each gesture. • Capincho Chair | +55design

Chairs Studio Faro Capincho Chair The result of a series of studies exploring possibilities based on the iconic chair by Hans Wegner, the Capincho Chair features a "skin" in the form of a cover, like a coat that adapts to the body of the sitter, embracing the back with the help of a flexible material inserted inside the leather or fabric cover, which is lined with mesh on a solid wood base. • joão chair | 55design

Chairs Bruno de Carvalho João Outdoor Chair Inspired by designer Bruno de Carvalho's maternal grandfather, who taught him to fully appreciate the resources of the land, the collection is a tribute to artisanal knowledge. Based on the self-sustainable concept of rural life, the materials and weaves behind the creation of the pieces elevate the artisans and respect for time as the protagonists of the line. Like a dance of textures and joints, the collection embodies the concept of exposing what is inside of us to the outside, from the interior to the exterior, transforming our memories and learnings into furniture filled with meaning. Memories such as family moments accompanied by the song "O Cio da Terra" by Milton Nascimento and Chico Buarque, performed by Renato Teixeira and Pena Branca & Xavantinho, which accompanies the designer's creative process and reflects the spirit of the line. The collection consists of chairs with and without arms, a high stool, and an armchair with footrests. • Bandeirola Shelf | +55design

Desks and Shelves Bruno de Carvalho Bandeirola Bookshelf From observing the movement of traditional flags during June festivals, the "Bandeirola" shelf was created.
